Okay, so I know we’re a little late on this, but I bet that this blog is longer than most of the facial hair you guys out there are attempting to grow.

You may remember our series of Movember posts from a few years ago and while we’re not all growing out our mustaches this year, we still want to highlight this cause. That’s right. Those 70s style mustaches do have a purpose. According to the official Movember charity, “Movember is responsible for the sprouting of millions of moustaches on men’s faces around the world. Through the power of the Mo, vital funds and awareness are raised to combat prostate and testicular cancer and mental health challenges.”

You may ask yourself “What do mustaches have to do with prostate and testicular cancer?” The same could be asked of the color pink and Breast Cancer Awareness. The fact is that it’s noticeable. It’s not every day that you see numerous men sporting a furry caterpillar between their upper lip and nose. It gets people talking, which is exactly what the “Mo Bros”, as they call themselves, want.

The Mo Bros have come a long way since their start 10 years ago and we commend them for raising awareness for prostate and testicular cancer and mental health challenges and over $147 million for research.

Your new mustache may create a whole new persona for yourself so who will you choose to be this month? The Trucker? The Undercover Brother? The Connoisseur? Or the Rock Star? There’s still time!
