Building two very different websites for a family of hospitals and medical practices and a medical education program.

ENHANCING EACH PATIENT'S EXPERIENCE OF A WEBSITE

Many hospital and medical practice websites just grow and grow and the result is unsatisfactory for patients. Health Quest came to Ashworth Creative and asked us to evaluate the patient experience on their overgrown website and come up with some possible solutions. We presented four options, they selected one and we were off and running. Ashworth worked closely with Health Quest’s in house marketing and web team to create a clean, easy to use site that talked to patients, not at them, that was easily searchable and has a consistency of approach for each area of service. The process is ongoing but already the site is cleaner, fresher and smooth to use. In order to maintain a consistent tone of voice on the website, Ashworth Creative’s writing team write, research or edit all content for the new site.

DESIGNING A NEW WEBSITE FOR MEDICAL EDUCATION PROGRAM

In 2018 Health Quest established a graduate medical education program based around their four hospitals in the mid-Hudson Valley and northwestern Connecticut. The device responsive website needed to attract and inform prospective residents and express the nature of the program which includes specialties in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine and Surgery. Ashworth wrote and/or edited all content, and designed the website. In addition to program specifics and application instructions, the site has a comprehensive overview of life in the mid-Hudson Valley and northwestern Connecticut to attract medical school graduations to choose Health Quest and our region as a great place to learn, work, live and play.

EXPLORING SERVICE LINES TO MAKE THEM COMPREHENSIVE AND COMPELLING

Today’s medicine is an extraordinary compilation of specialties. The language surrounding them can be a barrier to patients finding what they want and need to know and can be mind-boggling to the non-medical reader. Health Quest wants patients and their families to be able to understand their different service lines and want the language to have clarity, be approachable and understandable to a broad array of audiences. Ashworth Creative is a highly effective content studio and can adapt, research and write copy to make it accessible to all.
