AS DESIGNERS, WE KNOW THE IMPORTANCE OF TRUE COLOR

GTI Graphic Technology, Inc. was founded in 1975 with the goal of being the leading supplier of tight tolerance lighting systems and services for critical color viewing, color communication, and color matching assessment. True color is essential in many fields as anyone who has compared the color on different screens can understand. It is of critical importance to us in the creative field. GTI has now been a client and partner with Ashworth Creative for over a decade.

THE RIGHT LOGO TO REFLECT TECHNOLOGICAL EXCELLENCE

Our initial engagement with GTI was to update and hone their logo and tagline to set the pace for GTI’s longer term marketing efforts. Unless a client has an unlimited budget — and how very few of them do — it is essential that a brand should be recognizable to all customers wherever they find you, whatever marketing medium is used. Ashworth Creative worked closely with GTI to develop an elegant, classic yet modern logo that they have been using ever since.

BRANDING GTI IN MULTIPLE EVOLVING AND COMPETITIVE MARKETS

In their 30,000 SF manufacturing facility, GTI creates products that serve the graphic arts and photography sector. They also support industrial manufacturers such as textiles, plastics, paint, automotive, cosmetics, anywhere where color viewing and matching are critical. Their QElite product line is designed for companies that require an accurate and consistent light source during the developing, testing, and manufacturing of their product. Ashworth collaborated with GTI to develop effective messaging, and a tagline “true light, true color.”

DEVELOPING AN ECOMMERCE WEB CAPABILITY TO BOOST SALES

Ashworth Creative brought GTI to the attention of a whole new set of clients through the creation of an e-commerce website. The GTI Shop enables customers to choose and buy online color matching systems that enable visual color matching, inspection, and aesthetic appraisal in industrial and consumer markets.

THE CHALLENGE OF PRESENTING VIBRANT COLOR IN BROCHURES

When designing brochures and other collateral materials, we accepted the challenge of carrying forward the look needed to work consistently on all of the media used by the GTI, in a variety of modernized marketing materials with participatory graphics and die cutting. We utilized familiar imagery and nature photographs as a positive sales tool. Through sharp copy coupled with the right graphics, we portrayed the importance of having the “right” color.

EFFECTIVE MESSAGING FROM MOBILE DEVICES TO PRINT TO SEO

Over the years, Ashworth Creative has found new and innovative ways to tell GTI’s story to numerous customer categories. The original website was not mobile responsive but we made the transition for higher Google rankings and an enhanced user journey that is device agnostic. In print ads we created striking words and visuals to make the reader aware that GTI is the brand for true light and true color.
