SOLVING AN HR CHALLENGE WHEN THE BEST TALENT GOES SOUTH

Consigli asked Ashworth Creative to consider the issue of encouraging talented building professionals to join Consigli Construction instead of traveling to New York City. The natural place to find these prospects is on the two hour train journey to Manhattan and Ashworth Creative designed and wrote arresting posters to appear in train cars to show that high quality and prestigious construction jobs were available close to home. Backed by the line “Join Consigli. The shortest distance to a great career” the ads dominated the train cars and stood out on platforms.

GUIDING AN EMPLOYEE-OWNED COMPANY IN THE CONSTRUCTIVE USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA

Consigli Construction, a company with more than 1,000 employees, who are also company owners, realized they had a potentially powerful resource to spread good news about the company, to help intensify client relationships, and to help access the more than 1,000 social media contacts that most of their staff is likely to have. Instead of a dry HR social media rules document, Ashworth Creative designed and wrote a lively 14 page social media guide aiming to convert employees into social media ambassadors for Consigli Construction. Complete with clear Do and Don’t instructions, and tips and tricks for successful photos, videos and posts, the Consigli Social Media guide has been well received by staff who are already putting the idea into practice.

A PRINT PIECE AS DISTINGUISHED AS THE WORK IT REPRESENTS

It takes a particular kind of expertise to match historical accuracy with modern safety and building standards. Consigli came to Ashworth Creative to design a brochure that showcased their restoration projects. Isaac Ashworth, Creative Director on the project, chose classic fonts, restrained colors and full page visuals to make the restored buildings the heroes of the piece. “Great images of beautiful buildings told this story very clearly. As the designer, I wanted to keep the type and layout clean and simple and let the images speak for themselves.”
