Client: Vassar Brothers Medical Center

The case: Vassar Brothers came to us with three very specific needs. The first was to create a professional and fresh 2007 annual report. Another, further down the road, was to create a marketing campaign that would develop a more personal and welcoming relationship between Vassar Brothers Medical Center and the community. And lastly, they needed a way to engage "New Movers" and their families to visit/or tour the hospital. Our plan: Focusing on layout and design, the annual report needed to reflect the professionalism and compassion of Vassar Brothers Medical Center. In the same fashion as the annual report, using the heading "Only at Vassar Brothers...the Only Place for You," we developed ads with strong child-based images that would emotionally touch the community. A 3-piece campaign was executed via mail, including 2 postcards with a call to action, as well as a First-Aid Kit. The result: The 2007 annual report helped communicate the Center's mission and bring in what matters most: donor's support. Since then, Vassar Brothers has emerged as the leading medical center in the area where people feel confident and at home with doctors and staff.
