Manhattanville College is named in the Princeton review as one of America’s best institutions and is ranked as a Tier 1 College in U.S. World Report 2009. Manhattanville offers their students a 24/7 learning environment where you can study all night in the library and rehearse drums at 2 A.M. in the student center. Located on 100 acres in suburban Westchester County Manhattanville College believes in development of the whole person offering self-designed majors and 50 areas of study to its very diverse student population.

The Case:
  • To develop a Search piece and Viewbook
  • To focus on Manhattanville Colleges strong academic programs
  • To engage both Potential Students and their parents
  • To include faculty members in the process insuring success

The Process:
  • Research was gathered on each generation we would be engaging and how they make decisions
  • Interviews were conducted involving current students, faculty, college president and admissions staff
  • Ashworth Creative wrote copy, art directed photography and created designs based upon information gathered in the research stage
  • Front Covers were submitted for focus groups

The Result:
  • Faculty, Staff and Admissions Staff were thrilled with both design and content
  • A marketing tool was developed attracting potential students and their families
  • Ashworth is about to launch the Viewbook process and in the summer will implement a social media campaign through Flashbulb™
